Donny and Valerie Gothard are a Branch Management Team for Gateway Mortgage Group, they know the value of working one-on-one with clients. Working directly with an underwriter, their clients are ensured straightforward, honest answers from start to finish, as well as excellent products and service. With more than 20 years in the mortgage business Valerie has exceptional skills in underwriting, processing, originating, and management. Valerie grew up in a real estate environment as her father had a career as a RE/MAX broker-owner. Valerie started her first job at a mortgage company out of high school, and she has remained in the industry, she has underwriting experience in FHA, VA, and Conventional lending and is very knowledgeable in the areas of HUD REOs and investment property lending. As the marketing director Donny has honed his skills in the industry by working closely and de veloping relationships with buyers, investors, realtors, builders, and title companies throughout the state, his 10+ years as a loan closer helped him learn the importance of building relationships built on trust, integrity and good old-fashioned customer service. Together with their staff of veterans in the industry, whom have all been together for the past 9 years, they bring the best to you and your clients. Gateway Mortgage Group is a FNMA direct lender that services their own loans and has over a billion in servicing.
